Going on a Trip? Let AI Find the Most Affordable Flights for You

With the heightened fuel costs we have experienced for most of 2026, the cost of flights has skyrocketed. There are plenty of online tips available for booking the cheapest flights available, but it is easy to forget to log onto your computer on a Tuesday morning to possibly get a good deal.

By setting up AI tasks through your chosen platform, you can get frequent updates a discounted flights become available to your desired destination.

Below is an example of how I established a task within Claude for an upcoming trip:

1. Begin a new session and enter: I want to set up a new scheduled task. I want to track available flights between Tampa International Airport and Baltimore Washington Airport. I need to travel to Baltimore late on Friday, October 30th and want to return on Sunday, November 1st. Help me to find the cheapest flights available on a direct flight for me and my husband where we are able to sit together. We only need to carry on bags.
2. Claude’s response: I’ll set up a scheduled task that checks nonstop TPA → BWI fares twice a day through Friday, comparing the full cost for two people with carry-ons and seats together.
3. Select “Schedule”.

Claude will now be providing me twice-daily updates on available flights, sent directly to my phone. As each scheduled search runs independently, Claude won’t track previous flight results so I will still have to review and gauge if the flight prices are consistent or if a cheaper option has become available. Ultimately, booking still has to be completed by me as well.
