Apple Crumble Pizza
What is this dish?
This pizza is your favorite pie in handheld form. Warm, softened apple slices atop a crispy pizza crust, topped with a delicious cinnamon crumble and a sweet icing drizzle. If you ever ate at one of the pizza buffets of the 90s, this is an ode to the dessert pizzas served there.

Ingredients
1 store bought pizza crust*
2 apples, peeled and thinly sliced
1 Tbs. lemon juice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 c. flour
1/3 c. old fashioned oats
1/2 c. brown sugar
3 Tbs. cold butter, cubed
For the glaze:
1 c. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 Tbs. milk (or more as needed; can also use almond milk)
*The store-bought crust I used required no pre-baking, but if yours does, just follow whatever the package instructions say.
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
Add the apple slices to a bowl and toss with lemon juice and cinnamon.
Spread the apples in a single layer over the surface of the crust, leaving 1/2 inch of space at the perimeter of the crust.
In a separate bowl, combine the flour, oats and brown sugar, mixing to combine. Add one cube of butter at a time, mixing with your hands until a crumble consistency forms. Be patient with this as the process can take a while.
Still using your hands, sprinkle the crumble mixture evenly over the surface of the apples and pizza.
Bake the pizza for 25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
While the pizza bakes, prepare the glaze. In a small bowl, whisk together the glaze ingredients. You don’t want the glaze to be too runny, so add more powdered sugar or milk until a desired consistency forms.
Remove the pizza from the oven and allow it to cool for 5 minutes.
Drizzle the glaze over the pizza, allowing it to sit for a couple minutes to set before you slice it up and serve.
